President's Welcome

OxWIB's mission is to democratise opportunity in the world of business. Since 2008, we have grown into Oxford's largest women*-led society with over 4000 members, 30+ college ambassadors, and a 45-strong committee. In addition to offering exceptional resources and events, OxWIB is grounded in a community of like-minded, intelligent women*, who recognise the importance of succeeding together.

 

Thanks to the committee's hard work, the Michaelmas term card has the best of everything. We begin with events introducing all different sectors, like Law, Corporate Finance, and Hedge Funds. Then, there's the preparation for a transparent, stress-free application season. We've streamlined the abundance of information for you, with our insightful 'Applications Panel', the OxWIB deadline tracker, and a truly practical "How to" edition of our Insight magazine.

 

Don't just trust us - you'll be hearing straight from the professionals themselves. The relaunch of our International Mentorship Scheme welcomes a wealth of knowledge delivered as tailored, one-to-one advice. Our partner firms will also be coming to meet members on-campus. Examples include a fireside chat with JP Morgan, networking with Jane Street, and a presentation from Harvard Business School.

 

And as always, OxWIB knows how to throw a great social. Our President's Ball returns in its full glory, with an opportunity for our members to show off their creative flair. Collaborating with other Oxford societies, don't forget to take a well-earned break with our Wintery themed drop-in's and even a Charity gala (complete with prizes to be won).
