Women in Technology panel
Our final panel event of Trinity term was in collaboration with the amazing OxWEST (Oxford Women in Engineering, Science, and Technology).
Celebrating Women in Technology, we were pleased to welcome three wonderful women from diverse backgrounds:
Flavilla Fongang: Flavilla has been recognised among the top five most influential tech women in the UK and named a “She’s Mercedes” businesswoman by Mercedes Benz. She is the author of "99 Strategies to get customers", an International Keynote Speaker, BBC Brand Strategist, Brand Growth Coach and Branding & Marketing Agency MD. She founded TLA Black Women in Tech and hosts the popular Tech Brains Talk Podcast.
Matilda Andersson: Matilda is an international model turned computer scientist and AI expert. Her goal is to digitize the human brain and use machine learning to improve our lives. Matilda is an international debater on diversity and inclusion and built Sweden's largest network for female developers, Pink Programming. She has been awarded multiple prizes for her tech skills and entrepreneurial mindset ,and most recently, Microsoft named her ‘tech-girl of the year'.
Jeanette Carlsson: Jeanette is the leader and founder of Tech Nordic Advocates and CEO of newsmedia2.0. She is also a lecturer in innovation and entrepreneurship at various UK universities, Honorary Fellow of Ravensbourne (the UK’s leading digital media, design and innovation university), a business mentor to leading accelerator programmes, co-founder of a London digital learning programme and an advisor to the UK and Danish governments. She lives in London where she is a member of the accelerating London Tech City advisory board and a Tech London Advocate.
